About Cactus Horizon Little League

Volunteer-driven, family-friendly baseball

Cactus Horizon Little League is a chartered, local member of Little League International. Local Families have been enjoying baseball and contributing to the community for over 40 years. Games and practices are held at both Desert Shadows Middle School and Grayhawk Community Park.

A year-round program, CHLL's Spring season runs from February through May, and it's Fall season runs September through November. We also field All-Star teams for all Minors and Majors divisions, competing against other Little Leagues in the area each summer. 200 families gather at these fields to promote youth sports and to catch up with friends each season.

The league is a qualified 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization run totally by volunteers, there are no paid positions. Our objective is to assist youth in developing positive qualities related to sportsmanship, citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical fitness. The leagues goal is to instill the values of character, integrity and courage—developing superior citizenship first and great ball players second.

Players are local boys and girls between the ages of 4-14. The Cactus Horizon Little League consistently sends teams to local and state All-Star competitions and other local tournaments. Our players learn skill to ready them for high school baseball and beyond.

As a 100% volunteer driven organization, we rely solely on sponsorships, registration fees and opening day revenues to keep the league operating. We have been able to keep our fees low thanks to these sponsors. It is one of the most affordable sports leagues in Arizona thanks to the generosity of our sponsors.  We grant scholarships to those children who are unable to come up with the registration fees, and once again this is only possible because of the help that we get from our sponsors. Sponsorship dollars also help to pay for our lights, field maintenance costs, uniforms and umpires.

Cactus Horizon Little League thanks you for your consideration and hopes that you decide to help out our kids, our league and our community. We appreciate it!
