2022 Fundraising

Hello, I hope everyone is having a great start to the Spring season. This season CHLL has chosen to put a lot of focus on field improvements. We have been able to keep our registration fees lower than other leagues, but in doing so we rely solely on Sponsorships and donations from our local businesses and our community to do field improvements. To date we have used our Sponsorship, donated funds, and many man hours from our voluntary board members to purchase new drags and brooms for the fields, level and grade the spectator area behind Field 3 and put down DG material with a sealer to help control the dust. We have painted the dugouts, foul posts, manager sheds, light poles and the snack shack. We have put many hours into removing the weeds from all four of the fields, reshaping the fields and replacing the backstops on Fields 3 and 4.

There is still so much that we would like to do to improve the fields for our ballplayers. In order to make these improvements happen we need to do some league fundraising. The two main items that we would like to fundraise for are:

1. Providing shade around the dugouts on fields 1 and 2 (similar to fields 3 and 4). We have reached out to multiple vendors for quotes and these will be $1288.00 
2. Purchase Stabilizer (the red dirt) for Fields 1, 2, 3 and 4. Re-level all 4 fields and address the bordering from grass to dirt. The cost of the materials and labor for this project would be around $10,000.

At Opening Day we will be having a 50/50 raffle, a fastest pitch challenge and we will be arranging restaurant nights throughout the Spring season to go towards these items. We would also like each team to raise money. Let’s make this a FUN competition for the kids and see which team can raise the most money.

The three teams that raise the most money will have their team picture posted online.

• The winner will receive a pizza party at the fields on a date of their choice. 
• 2nd place team will have snacks/drinks provided for an away game of their choice. 
• 3rd place team with receive one extra snack shack voucher for each player. 

Two ways to submit a donation:

1. Visit the 'Donate' page of our website and submit your donation online. Report back to your Manager/Team Parent the amount donated, so they can keep track on your team's behalf.
2. Submit a payment to your Manager/Team Parent for each team to collect and keep track of the money raised by the team. That person can then submit to the League on behalf of the team. 

Deadline:

We would like to have this fundraising campaign completed by March 15th so that we can do these improvements for the players who have raised the money. Let’s get excited and see what our awesome Little League community can accomplish when we come together with one common goal in mind…providing our players with great facilities to use and an awesome season of making memories with their teammates.
